Our yellow encaustic tiles
Among our 78 cement shades, the yellows fall into four families.
1- Primary yellow, with no compromise: H7.
2- Mustard yellow: G2 and G3.
3- Pale, chalky yellows between cream and beige, close to linen or straw: H8, H9 and G9.
4- Saffron yellow, leaning towards ochre: H4.
Colours are easier to choose in real life than on a screen: a yellow changes a great deal with the light in the room. Order samples to see them in your own light.
Yellow as an accent
A design has on average four colour areas. Yellow can take just one of them: an edging, the heart of a flower, a stripe. The stripes of our Les Zazous collection, such as Seersucker or Bayadère, and our Rail design lend themselves well to this.
Which colours go with yellow?
With black and white, ochre yellow warms a graphic interior. With blue or a powder pink, it makes a bolder palette: that is the approach of our Cosmic colourway.
Yellow zellige
Zellige comes in yellow among our 43 colours, notably N°6, which our clients lay on splashbacks in squares and triangles, and N°7. Its glaze varies the yellow from one tile to the next. See all our
