No Matter the Size!
Vintage Cement Tile Patterns
Our skilled artisans can reproduce any geometric shape. Your home’s flooring is an important decision, and Maison Bahya will help you select the colored cement and geometric patterns you’ve always dreamed of. A vintage cement tile design will add undeniable charm to your home.
Vintage Cement Tile Sizes
Some vintage cement tile patterns are timeless—even if the sizes have slightly changed.
Cement tiles in 10x10 cm or 15x15 cm, and sometimes even 18x18 cm, were common in the previous century.
Today, the 20x20 cm format is much more popular for economic reasons. A 10x10 cm tile requires four times as much work as a 20x20 cm tile.
Every piece is handmade. The effort remains nearly the same regardless of the tile size. In fact, the smaller the tile, the more work needed to cover a given surface.
Maison Bahya can reproduce any vintage cement tile—no matter its shape, size, or pattern.
Our reproductions cover every shape: squares, diamonds, hexagons, octagons, and even very unique, custom-made designs. Recently, we reproduced a special “shuttle” format for a couple renovating a home originally owned by Americans in Cap Corse. We created a unique design with the exact dimensions of the tiles that once adorned this beautiful residence.
The dining room of this impressive home has reclaimed its old-world charm. What a joy it is to revive traditional cement tiles that can no longer be found today…
Maison Bahya works every day to modernize cement tiles while maintaining an admiring respect for the creation of certain “retro” designs.
Hailing from another era or faraway lands, these tiles inspire us. Cement tiles are a testament to artisanal expertise—they carry the influences of different periods and regions and open up endless creative possibilities.
We are dedicated to reproducing these decorative treasures and reviving them in your interiors. They will serve as a daily echo of a memory, a journey, or a special place.
Maison Bahya regularly collaborates with hotels and restaurants on renovation projects for iconic spaces. We reproduce vintage cement tiles that were installed decades ago and continue to charm these locations. By replicating them exactly, we create new spaces while preserving the original soul of these magical places.
We are proud to offer Maison Bahya’s unique expertise to private clients. We know the joy of installing a bespoke cement tile design in a home—each piece is crafted with heart and soul.

Frequently Asked Questions About Reproducing Vintage Cement Tiles
Will there be a noticeable difference between the newly reproduced tiles and the originals?
Yes, it’s inevitable. The original tiles are worn and patinated, while the cement tiles we reproduce are brand new—crafted using the same traditional artisanal process as before. Only time will add a beautiful patina to your reproduced tiles.
However, our carefully selected color palette ensures stunning results right from the start, even when your new tiles are installed alongside your vintage ones.
Our advice: have your original tiles restored to reduce the contrast between new and old. Cleaning your worn tiles will help them regain vibrant colors and appearance, narrowing the gap with the new ones. And don’t forget to re-treat the entire surface—the pore sealer will waterproof your cement tiles, both new and old.
This will make daily maintenance much easier.
Feel free to ask us for recommendations for companies that specialize in restoring cement tiles.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost to produce your reproduced tiles is the same as for other models in our catalog. The price depends on the tile size and the number of colors required. The only additional cost for a vintage tile reproduction project is a fixed fee. This fee covers the creation of the brass divider needed to produce your tiles with the desired pattern. If you’d like to know the price, please
contact us.
Some particularly complex patterns, composed of many small details, may require significantly more production time than average. In such cases, we apply a slightly higher rate per square meter—but always a fair and reasonable one.
Do You Already Have Vintage Patterns Available?
We have over 300 vintage patterns in our workshop. First, show us the pattern you’d like to reproduce. We’ll start by checking if it’s already part of our extensive vintage collection.
Not all our patterns are available in the simulator—it would be overwhelming! You can view them in our Grand Catalogue, downloadable
here.
